Braised Garoupa & onions with Huiji Waist Tonic


Garoupa fillet with skin: 2pcs
Purple onions: 2 pcs
Grated garlic: 1 tsp
Huiji Waist tonic: 5 tbsp
Water: 120ml
Sugar: 1 tbsp
Light soy sauce: 1 tbsp
Dark soy sauce: 1 tbsp
Sesame oil: 1 tsp


1. Coat some salt and pepper onto the garoupa fillet.
2. Sautee the fillet and onions until golden brown.
3. Add in the grated garlic, 120ml water, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soya sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 5 tbsp Huiji Waist tonic.
4. Let it cook for a while.
5. Remove from pan and serve it hot.
6. Garnish with spring onions.
